Each year, the Foundation allocates an amount ranging from €50,000 to €70,000 to one or several projects involving the acquisition, conservation, restoration, or enhancement of a work of art intended for or belonging to a Belgian public or religious institution. The project must demonstrate the artistic or historical value of the work and clearly highlight the strategy for its enhancement once the work has been acquired and/or restored. In the case of restoration, the work must be carried out by a qualified conservator-restorer active in Belgium.
