This international marine conservation organization, founded in 2003 by Alisdair Harris of Bristol University, aims to protect the world’s marine ecosystem. Its task is to train local coastal communities to prevent environmental degradation, particularly overfishing. The aim is to replace overfishing with sustainable fishing that respects biodiversity, thereby improving people’s livelihoods and helping them to become self-sufficient.
In 2023, the Périer-D’Ieteren Foundation decided to support this organization for three consecutive years via EPIC.
