The Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (Brussels) and Catheline Périer-D’Ieteren participated in the colloquium Borman and Sons in Context. Brabantine sculpture from 1460-1540, held at M – Museum Leuven on 27-29 November 2019. Together with Emmanuelle Mercier and Myriam Serck-Dewaide (KIK-IRPA), Catheline Périer presented the first work hypotheses about the Adoration of the Magi altarpiece in the San Nazaro Maggiore Basilica (Milan) in a communication titled The Adoration of the Magi in San Nazaro, Milan: an unknown work by Jan II Borman? In 2017, the Périer-D’Ieteren Foundation funded the first mission to study the artwork on site in Milan.

On Tuesday 15 January 2019, Valentine Henderiks will give a lecture on Albrecht Bouts, portraitist of a member of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem (in French), at the Société royale d’Archéologie de Bruxelles.
