Scale Dogs is a Belgian non-profit organisation established in 1990, dedicated to the training and placement of guide dogs for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Its mission is built around three core pillars: promoting the independence of beneficiaries, strengthening the human-animal bond and ensuring high-quality training for every dog.
For more than three decades, the organisation has placed 140 guide dogs, supporting individuals in achieving greater mobility, independence and confidence in their daily lives. Since 2021, Scale Dogs has also developed an assistance dog programme for children on the autism spectrum, through which more than ten dogs have already been trained to provide daily support.
In recognition of the organisation’s significant social and human impact, the Foundation is supporting Scale Dogs for the 2026-2027 period, contributing to the continued delivery and further development of its initiatives in support of inclusion and autonomy.
